A lifetime in the making

A familiar touch.
A full-circle story.

“I remember my mother gently tracing my eyebrows with her fingers to help me relax and fall asleep. … She didn’t call what she did a massage. She just knew it innately.”

Growing Garden brings together PJ’s experience as a mother, grandmother, teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and massage therapist, along with everything she continues to learn.

“I want parents to feel empowered with knowledge and practical skills.”

“And I get to be the guide on the side.”

A little more to know

Before we
grow together.

Who is Growing Garden for?

Parents and caregivers who would like to learn infant or child massage, including those preparing for a baby’s arrival. PJ can talk with you about your child’s age and your family’s needs.

Can we start before our baby is born?

Yes. During prenatal coaching, you’ll practice with an infant massage doll and talk about ways to bring nurturing touch into your daily routine once your baby arrives.

Can infant massage help a baby with colic?

Gentle tummy massage is included in NHS guidance on soothing a baby with colic. However, research has not established massage as a reliable treatment for colic. Growing Garden teaches nurturing touch and responsiveness to your baby’s cues; it does not diagnose or treat colic. If your baby’s crying concerns you, speak with your pediatrician before beginning massage.

How does online coaching work?

A one-hour online coaching session is $75. You learn and practice with your child from home while PJ guides you online. Choose a time using the online coaching booking button above. Web conferencing details are provided with your confirmation.

Who gives the massage?

You do. PJ’s role is to teach and guide you as you learn to recognize your child’s cues and practice gentle strokes together. A parent or caregiver remains present throughout.

How do we arrange a session or ask about a class?

Use the booking buttons above to choose your coaching session and an available time. For in-home visits, contact PJ to confirm your location is within her service area. Text or email PJ with questions or to ask about class dates and registration.

Can PJ come to our mommy group and coach us together?

Yes! Growing Garden can be a lovely way for your mommy group to learn and connect. PJ can guide parents and caregivers through gentle infant massage, with time to practice with your babies and ask questions together. Contact PJ to share a little about your group and discuss your location, availability, and a gathering that works for you.
